FINANCIAL HELP

Help with your tuition fees

The cost of providing college and university courses is met mostly by the Government and partly by tuition fees charged to the students. Many students are entitled to help to pay some or all of their fees. Exactly how much you get depends on your income and that of your family and when you start your course. Students from families with low incomes currently pay no tuition at all.

Can I get any other funding?

Help if you have a disability

If you have a disability then you may be entitled to a Disabled Students Allowance which is money to help with costs you incur in attending your course, as a direct result of your disability.

Got children or other dependants?

Get extra help

Financial help is available from many people who want to study and who have dependants. For example, students with children may be able to get a Parents' Learning allowance and help with the cost of childcare. Students who have an adult who depends on them financially can get an Adult Dependants' Grant.
