I will be focusing on the process of incorporating lifelong learning for different socially disadvantaged groups by actively involving the learner, and the wider community and society context. This is a complex and challenging perspective that is immensely rewarding.

From a practical perspective, these aspects will be addressed from the viewpoint of my work at Folkuniversitetet, discussing our pedagogical standpoint and how it functions with adult target groups such as adults with disabilities, immigrants and those who are unemployed.
